Love Bexley: a support service for families in need of a little help

We recognise that raising kids can be a difficult task. Whether they're a new or expectant parent, or are finding raising kids a financial burden, we want to help out.

We work in partnership with Frontline Professionals in order to provide support for families who are most in need of support.

All support is via referrals from Frontline Professionals who refer families to us. We cannot accept requests for help direct from individuals but please get in touch via the Contact Us page and we'll do our best to connect you to the appropriate services.

there are two types of referral:

  1. GENERAL REFERRAL

For referrals that are for items that are not covered by the Bexley Household Support Fund or for those that do not meet the required criteria.

  2. BEXLEY HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND (BHSF):

We are pleased to let you know that we have been chosen as one of the organisations entrusted by Bexley Council to distribute Bexley’s Household Support Fund (HSF) up to March 2024.  This is a national grant funded by the Department for Work and Pensions, that has been made available to support those most in need to help with the rising cost of living.  The Fund is intended to cover a wide range of low-income households in need including families with children of all ages, pensioners, unpaid carers, care leavers and disabled people.  In particular, there may be those who are in need but are not eligible for other forms of government support at this time.
